Jeffrey P. Heft
President and CEO, BYL Companies
Jeffrey (Jeff) P. Heft is President and Chief Executive Officer for BYL Companies. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Prior to founding BYL in 1998, served as a CPA for Kimmel, Lorah & Associates for 11 years, and as the Chief Financial Officer for American Telecast Products, a global leader in direct response marketing, for 10 years. Jeff holds a degree in Accounting from Drexel University and is a Certified Public Account.
Raymond W. Stein
Senior Vice President of Operations, BYL Companies
Raymond (Ray) W. Stein is Senior Vice President for BYL Companies. He is responsible for all operational aspects of BYL’s Collection Services division, including setting and achieving revenue goals as well as the implementation of risk management strategies to mitigate the risk of adverse consequences from legal, compliance, and technological risk. Ray started his career in the Collections industry in 1986 as a collector for Financial Collection Agencies. Over the last 22 years, Raymond has successfully held management-level positions with both creditors and collection agencies. Prior to joining BYL in 2005, Raymond developed and headed up Wachovia Bank’s collection agency/attorney management program.
Vice President of Operations, BYL Companies
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for all operational functions relating to accounting, processing, and support services for BYL. The VP– Operations will develop and implement procedures and controls to ensure proper and true accounting methods are utilized to report the Company’s financial position. Prior to joining BYL in 1998, Karen served as Collection Manager for American Telecast Products.
Ryan M. Howard
Vice President of Business Development, BYL Companies
Ryan M. Howard is Vice President of Business Development for BYL Companies. He is responsible for the marketing and expansion of the company’s service levels and revenues through new and existing key-client relationships. Prior to his role as Vice President, he has worked in multiple departments throughout the organization, including: data processing, insurance billing and collections, and as an account executive for the group’s collection services division. In 2004, Ryan assisted in the formation of the company’s background screening division, VeriFirst. He holds a degree in Communications from Lynn University.
